2021 Jeep Wrangler vs 2021 Jeep Gladiator

Serving Chesterton, IN

The Jeep Wrangler is among the most identifiable and iconic crossovers on the road today. It is as well-known for its cube-like shape as it is for its rugged capabilities. The Gladiator, on the other hand, is a newcomer to the Jeep line. It stands apart from other Jeep models as the only truck model currently available. However, it shares many traits with the Wrangler. Our sales agents at Connors Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM are excited to help you get more familiar with these impressive models and their abilities.

Both of these vehicles are off-road beasts with the same badge for trail-rated equipment. A 3.0-liter EcoDiesel engine that is capable of producing 260 horsepower is offered in both models. The Gladiator is available with one other powertrain possibility. This is a 3.6-liter V6 Pentastar engine that puts off 285 horsepower. In the Wrangler, this Pentastar engine is available with either eTorque or ESS with the same 285-horsepower output. The other powertrain that is available only for the 2021 Wrangler is a 2.0-liter turbo gas engine. With ESS, it produces 270 horsepower. The Wrangler is available with several four-wheel-drive configurations. The Gladiator has extras like enhanced axles and a trail camera.

Visually, the 2021 Wrangler and the 2021 Gladiator are comparable from most angles. For example, they share the same grille design, molded wheel fenders, and round headlamps. The roof and doors are removable, and the windshield folds down in both models. Uniquely, the Wrangler is available with several styles of roofs. It also has a spare tire mounted on its tall rear door and lift-style window. On the other hand, the Gladiator has a truck bed with a steel box, integrated tie-down clamps, and other equipment.

The interior dashboard design and features in the 2021 Wrangler and the 2021 Gladiator are also comparable in many ways. For example, they both have a tall dashboard with a color display screen, contrast stitching, and round air vents. The interfaces for the climate control system are comparable as well. These two models also are equipped with a push-button starter, a digital instrumentation panel, heated seats, a sound system, and other preferred features.

At Connors Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, we are available to help you uncover the many differences between these models and their trims. With differences in capabilities, standard features, and options, you can easily find a crossover SUV or a truck in our inventory that lives up to your expectations.
